HEP bulletin – May 2022

Last updated: 27 May 2022

Registration and attendance confirmations

Please prioritise any outstanding registration or attendance confirmations for 2021/22 courses. You should follow up all registrations with an appropriate attendance confirmation. You should also clear your Change of Circumstance (CoC) worklists.

Please check your registration and attendance worklists for any outstanding confirmations from previous years. If reassessment details are correct, you should reconfirm attendance in acceptance of the changes made. This will let us release payments or recover overpayments. If the details are not correct, you should submit a further CoC. It is important for student accounts to be as up to date as possible.

Course collection for academic year 2021/22

The student application service for part-time undergraduate, postgraduate master's and postgraduate doctoral courses is now open. If you have not yet added all your eligible courses to our Courses Management Service (CMS), you should do so now.

Our CMS validation team is validating submitted part-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses. If the team contacts you, please make sure you respond and make changes as soon as possible. Course data needs to be correct before students apply for funding. If you do not respond it could affect the availability of your courses.

Bursary Administration Service

The Bursary Administration Service (BAS), previously HEBSS, is a contracted service paid for by those who subscribe. We invoice in arrears on an annual basis, covering the financial year from March to February.

If you had an active subscription last year, you will have received an invoice in March. Thank you to those who have paid their invoice. If you have not paid please arrange payment soon, to make sure you follow the terms of our agreement. For those not paying via direct debit, payment options are on the invoice.

Application data for academic year 2022/23 will not be available until you pay the annual subscription invoice. It is therefore important that you pay your invoice as soon as possible.

New subscribers to the Bursary Administration Service are welcome at any time. There is no minimum number of students. Please contact your HEP Account Manager for more information.

Migrant worker employment checks

Over the last month, we have been sending emails in batches to students who fall into the migrant worker employment checks category.

We've been asking for evidence of their, or their family members' continued employment or self-employment. We have asked for evidence covering September to February.

Please encourage your students to respond.

Student Support Seminar 2022
