SLC Delivers Electronic Signatures for Students Applying in 2018/19

We are delivering an improved customer experience for students through the introduction of Electronic Signatures to our application process as of 25 March 2018.

New and returning students across all domiciles applying online for funding for full time undergraduate study in AY 2018/19 will now submit their Online Terms and Conditions (OTC) via their online account with an Electronic Signature (E-Signature).

The introduction of E-Signatures means that students will enjoy an improved customer experience. E-Signatures will enable us to:

  • remove the need for students to send Online Declaration Forms in the post;
  • reduce the time it takes for us to process your students' funding applications; and
  • assess applications and provide funding confirmations more quickly.

Please be aware that students who have submitted their online application before 25th March will still need to sign and submit the Online Declaration Form.

Users of our Student Information Service (SIS) will begin to see fewer student applications at 'Approved Awaiting Signature' status as students start submitting their OTCs electronically.
