SFW Application Service

The Student Finance Wales full-time undergraduate application service for AY 2019/20 is now open. New students should apply online at www.studentfinancewales.co.uk.

SFW will contact continuing students in due course to prompt them to apply. 

The deadline for submitting applications to ensure funding is received in time for course start dates are:
10 May for new students 
7 June for continuing students. 

SFW Partner Resources

We have a range of resources in the practitioner section of the Student Finance Wales website. These will give you more information about what students can get, how they apply and what evidence they will need to complete their application:

• a downloadable factsheet covering the student finance package;
• detailed main guides giving in-depth information;
• ready-made presentations to use in the classroom or at other planned events; and
films you can share on your website or social media channels.

You can also still order free copies of our printed quick guides to share with students and their parents.

SFNI Application Service

The Student Finance Northern Ireland full-time undergraduate application service for AY 2019/20 is now open. New students should apply online at www.studentfinanceni.co.uk.

SFNI will contact continuing students in due course to prompt them to apply. 

The deadline for submitting applications to ensure funding is received in time for course start dates are:
12 April for new students 
28 June for continuing students.

We have a range of resources on the Student Finance NI website. These will give you more information about what students can get, how they apply and what evidence they will need to complete their application.

SFE Application Service

The SFW and SFNI services join the SFE service that opened to applications on 25 February. 

New students can now apply online on the GOV.UK website. To ensure funding is received in time for course start dates they should complete and submit their application by 24 May 2019.

There are a range of resources available on the practitioner website that will help you guide students should they have any questions about what funding they can apply for, how they apply and what evidence they might need for their application.
